Pets are like children. You nurture them, you care for their needs, you worry about them, you play with them and most of all you love them. Those unfortunate people who have never experienced the bond between human and pet often don't understand the gaping hole that's left in your heart when your pet dies.
We do. Each one of us at Perpetual Friends currently owns and has in the past lost a sweet animal companion. We know the grief and loneliness, and we've shed many tears.
You don't need to suffer alone. Below is a list of resources to help you get through the grief. We hope these help and we offer our deepest condolences to you in your time of sorrow and loss.

Grief Healing E-Courses
Pet Loss course testimonial:
"This e-course is clear, concise, and well organized... The thoughts and feelings one experiences when losing their beloved pet are thoroughly covered. Marty Tousley addresses issues that most people are too embarrassed or ashamed to admit. She leaves 'no stone unturned'. She covers many issues that most people probably don't even consider such as 'providing for pet care in your absence' and 'anticipatory grief.' Both the psychological and physical symptoms associated with pet loss are also covered. Even the spiritual side of pet loss is included, which is a very difficult issue. This course is wonderful for people who are grieving because it contains all the necessary information without having to go to several resources at this very difficult time." - Rosemarie Klorman, Certified Professional Counselor
